Hello to All,

As the holiday season approaches and our attention turns to other things there are a couple of items that should be in the forefront.

1. Please make sure you have affiliated your chapter with National TSA before the due date.

2. Know the date and location of your regional conference.

3. Check the TSA State Web page for your Regional Conference date and location. ( patsa.org)

4. Hopefully your students have begun work on their competitive events and will be ready at the time of your regional conference.

As your regional conference approaches and your students are preparing please make sure they are reading the criteria and understand the rules and regulations related to their events. As an advisor and past regional coordinator it is always a difficult decision to have to DQ a student knowing full well how much work and preparation goes into each event.

Check the READ-READ-READ for updates and information related to the state conference on the Web Page as well. There are going to be some changes at the state conference this year. The events that require testing will be done on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning at the conference. This should help to cut down on the number on conflicts that have occurred in the past.

Please remember that the BOD is working hard to make the experiences the students have at their conferences as rewarding and positive as possible. Each student who completes his or her work and is able to attend a conference is a winner.
