Welcome to the 2010-2011 TSA Year! On behalf of the State Officer Team, I would like to extend our congratulations to everyone for achieving such phenomenal results at the State and National level. In the past year, you have shown your dedication and creativity not only in TSA, your school, and community but also to the environment and the fight against cancer. But why stop now?

The State Officer Team is already working hard toward making the upcoming year a remarkable one with improvements to existing activities as well as the addition of new ones. In our online meetings we have already discussed new fundraisers for the American Cancer Society, expanding the Got Game? Tournament, new formats for the PA-Post, themes for Friday Night, and the improvement of the Parliamentary Procedure Special Interest Session we offered last year. We are especially excited about the growth of the Membership and newly-founded Green Committee. Through these committees, members like you can take part in helping strengthen PATSA through environmental activism and the promotion of TSA in your school and community.

I encourage you to challenge yourself and take a more active role in TSA whether it be by participating in one of the committees, reading the PA-Post, watching our videos on youtube, following us on facebook, or contacting us by e-mail with your ideas, questions, and concerns. The State Officer Team consists of only eight people but with your help, the possibilities are endless.

So is the upcoming year really going to be a “Snapshot of Innovation”?

Better bring your cameras because its sure to be memorable.
